q: who are your influences?

a: it's different for each of us in a personal sense, but we'd say our music in general bears influence from the songwriting style and arrangements of Death Cab for Cutie and the more mellow side of Smashing Pumpkins, and our guitar/synth styles are often shaped by artists like Abandoned Pools, Alvvays, and Explosions in the Sky.

q: when are you releasing new music?

a: sooooooon... we are trying to stick to a fairly regular release schedule. hopefully every few months you'll hear from us as we try to build our discography. life happens though so, ya know, no promises.

q: who writes your songs?

a: most of our lyrics come from nick's eternally vexed brain, but all of us write the songs as we all add something unique to each one!

q: why is everything in lowercase?

a: just trying for an aesthetic, man.

q: why is james so red?

a: he's actually animal from the muppets. 

q: what's the best part about being in a band?

a: there must be some mistake, we're not "in a band," we are "banned" ...  from dave and buster's.
